I'm helping a friend with her Indexhibit-based site. She wants to move to a new and better hosting service. I see you recommend Dreamhost. Is there a way to move the site to Dreamhost, or a different host, while keeping it intact with Indexhibit, without having to rebuild it? (btw, I don't know which version is being used for the site)

It would really be *amazing* if someone could provide information for this. I am sure many people have the same problem. And a complete rebuild just does not seem like an attractive option at all.

I managed to solve the problem, using the search-function and some common sense ;-)

what I did was
(1) upload all files and the database to new provider
(2) change permissions to 777 on folders:
/files/
/files/gimgs/
/files/dimgs/
/ndxzsite/config/
/ndxzsite/cache/
(3) update /ndxzsite/config/config.php with new database-info (dbname, dbuser, password)
(4) enjoy
