Indexhibit Support

Hi Vaska & all,
Some ongoing issues that began last month when my webhost migrated to another company. I'm now attempting to reinstall indexhibit with version 2.1.3 It seems I am very close to aligning everything, but having XXconfig issue that i do not understand.
Installation page error reads:

OK, install.php has been sent.

The new install. file you sent has gotten me past the XXconfig, but my website and indexhibit login page are blank white. I will look again through the trouble shooting forums and try to determine if it's a database connection issue....
Also, I don't seem to have any htaccess file - is that a problem?

I restored htaccess, but still no progress -hrmph.
