Still using the old one but want to upgrade to the newer version. I have transmit, but when I entered ftp.thecompanystudio.com, with user name and password that I use for the indexhibit, didn't work. Any advice?

Ask your hosting company for help with setting up FTP.

Ask your webhost about how to use/access FTP - Indexhibit is not a webhost or an FTP application.
