How to install a PHP 5.4.0 (or greater) upgrade?

seankim / 2018-08-12 23:08:55

If you're set to a newer version but your site is still running on php 5.2, you've got a setting in either your .htaccess or php5.ini causing it.

How to change PHP version?

seankim / 2018-08-14 12:20:53

I downloaded Indexhibit v2.1.5 (January 14th, 2018)
Requires PHP 5.6 or greater (preferably greater - ask your host to upgrade your PHP).

I changed the server to php 7.0 / MariaDB 10.1 because my host (whois.co.kr) charge just PHP 5.5 or 7.0.
So, I choosed PHP 7.0 and then my website disappear
I can't find it anywhere

How can I do?

Your host can't help you figure out where your files are? Clearly, something odd happened when you upgraded the server.

As of now, we don't see any Indexhibit files - something isn't right with the server setup.

seankim / 2018-08-15 06:35:13

FTP uploaded Cyberduk (indexhibit-master) and my server upgraded PHP 7.0.12 / MySQL 10.1.18-mariadb
(hosting.whois.co.kr/new/…)
and then siyeonkim.com/ndxzstudio/
---> I can't not install inexhibit...

Host whois.com said i should ask you.
What's the problem?

Vaska A / 2018-08-15 13:30:14

No, they did not. Whois.com is a domain registrar. They told you to talk to your webhost - Indexhibit is not a webhost.

I don't know what the problem is - we can't even see any files - they are not there. Something is wrong with your server or the DNS. Right now, it's not an Indexhibit issue.

Otherwise, take your backup and go to a new webhost since they will not help you find the files.

It's not installed. Go through installation again...everything is fine.

siyeonkim.com/ndxzstudio/…

But, I think what you have done is keep reuploading files - wiping out the database connection file. You need to get a handle of how to use FTP at this point.

I did what you talked me (erase ftp and then reuploaded your file_indexihit master)
but i can’t login
and login error is continue...
Could you try do that to solve the program ? with my ftp program?

Vaska A / 2018-08-17 07:55:40

For the record, I used to do this for people years ago, but I no longer do this for free. While I appreciate that some people purchased Indexhibit, my help is not free forever with one-to-one assistance. For that reason, I usually do not get involved directly in resolving issues.

seankim / 2018-08-18 03:53:49

Ok, i understand
Anyway, i solved the problem by myself....
The problem is version.
my server to php 7.0 / MariaDB 10.1 because my host (whois.co.kr) charge just PHP 5.5 or 7.0.

Does not work PHP 7.0 / MariaDB 10.1

seankim / 2018-08-18 03:58:01

I changed the server PHP 5.5 and then it works well...
The important is the server

Vaska A / 2018-08-18 18:21:52

It does work with PHP 7 - and it was working on your server.

MariaDB though - it should work. But, there could be a setup problem with Maria. At this time though, I still recommend MySQL.

I have seen it working on MariaDB but have never looked into it much.
