This happens usually because of server issues. If you haven't upgraded Indexhibit for years - and your host has upgraded the server - then it will crash. This is why we update things.
The only other reasons I can think of...
- your site was hacked (but I doubt it)
- or your database login/passwords were changed (sometimes hosts do this for various reasons but I think they would let you know - they don't always)
You can fix it...updating Indexhibit is the first and usually easiest step.
