I am building a portfolio site using indexhibit with the columner theme and indexpand plugin.
I want to create links on the home page that will open expanded menus when clicked, and close again or reset when a new page is loaded. For example if I click 'Series' it would expand a menu with different exhibits.
Currently the menus are expanded by default, and if I click 'Series' it will load the /series page. I want the links on the home page to serve only to expand menus, not open new pages.
How do I create links that only expand menus? Is there a way to make indexpand collapse menus by default, expand when a link is clicked and then return collapsed after a selection is made? I've tried toggling the options in the indexpand plugin settings, trying different things in creating sections under 'admin' and exhibits/index links in ndxz studio, and searched for the forums for information. I'm stumped and learning as I go, any help is greatly appreciated. This is the site I'm working on:
