site erased or hacked??

Hi,
Yesterday i was going to update my website when I realized that it's all gone. Only an older version of the homepage remains - strangely enough one that says something like 'site is being updated'.
When i logged into my indexhibit edit section, all the sections are gone as well. Have I been hacked? Or could the pb be related to some new updates from the company hosting the site? I've had this site since 10 years... please help me?
