site hacked even after upgrade to 2.1.6

My website was hacked a while ago, and I know how to remove the hack, but it keeps coming back, almost on a daily basis. Yesterday I updated to v2.1.6 and reinstalled my whole website, and I just saw that the hack is there again. What can I do to permanently fix this?

I did a scan of your site and it says there is nothing wrong with your site. So, as far as I can say, it's not an Indexhibit issue.

Your site could be hacked in other ways:

- are your passwords unique
- is your FTP info leaked
- did you have other code on your site that is vulnerable
- is this free and way too cheap hosting
- etc

Thanks Vaska for scanning my site. I checked with my host and they have removed more hacked files that were in a 'stats' folder as a result of the hack of an older version of indexhibit. Hopefully this will fix it.

Indexhibit doesn't have a stats folder - this is something either your webhost provides or is part of some other app on your site.
