Indexhibit Support

Hi, i actually try to put two site on a same database. I've done all the installation process, and when i try to log in i got a 'login err' message, so i can't keep going with my website installation.
I've seen thant it's a kind of common instalation problem.. any help ?

Are they both the same version of Indexhibit? Are you running PHP 7.1+?

I vaska, thank you fot your quick answer.Maybe they aren't, cause my website heloisebariol.fr is kind of old. I changed my PHP stuff for 7.

But now, even my website heloisebariol.fr doesn't show up anymore...

Which would make sense - an old site can't run on PHP7. You need to upgrade that site, as well. I'm guessing you are trying to use both old and new and they both need to be new (and use newer PHP).

So, you'll need to upgrade the older site, as well.

Do not delete things - do not delete anything from the database. It will be fine...

It will take me time to upgrade my heloisebariol.fr website, meanwhile can i install already my 180litres.fr website ?

I got a MYSQL v.5.6, and PHP 7.1... Is that ok ?

That's good. You should be able to install it - I don't really have a clear view through a forum though. Just be sure you change the database prefix - add a number to it or something.

Ok, 180litres.fr use to show up even if i didn't had access to 180litres.fr/ndxzstudio/.. right now it doesn't even show up. Any idea why ?

It doesn't appear to be outputting anything at all. Are you able to login to the studio? I'm guessing that you have some files not fully uploaded or missing, or it's still some kind of PHP issue.

I am just guessing from this perspective.

No, i still can't login.. i'm going crazy with that thing since two days. I've tried the password reset things and anything. It use to show up, but tsince i moved to PHP7.1 it doesn't anymore..

I removed the config.php and make again the 180litres.fr/ndxzstudio/….. now it shows up but i still don't have access to the 180litres.fr/ndxzstudio/

Well i updated my heloisebariol.fr website, and it's back ! Uh uh ! but i still have no access to the heloisebariol.fr/ndxzstudio/ 180litres.fr/ndxzstudio/ nether..

But, it's not updated - it says it's running v2.0.1. I am very confused by what's going on - I really don't know what to say.

Well, i did the things like it says on forum.indexhibit.org/tutorials/Upgrade/upgrade-to-version-two/2/, but i didn't delated anything.. what's sure is that i've no access anymore on the ndxzstudio.

But clearly something isn't right there and it's not possible for me to know through a forum.

I understand but i don't know a to do. maybe just delate everything and rebuilt all. I've been trough the forume and it seems that many people have encounter the same log problem, without any solution. Anyway..

It's realy important to me to get back access to my website studio. I can't give up. So i've tried again to upgrade for new version proceding like this :

Step 1: Download the version v2.1.6 zip file and unzip on your hard drive.

Step 2: Backup everything on your server!

Step 3: On your server, replace the folders "ndxzstudio" and "ndxzsite" (making extra sure you don't overwrite your /ndxzsite/config/config.php file)

Step 4: login to yoursite/ndxzstudio, you should see a yellow band on top with the message "update to 2.1.6", click on it and if everything went well, it'll show you a message that says that indexhibit is updated.

But i still have a log error, even by doing the retreive password process. So i can't complete the upgrading.

Could you please help me getting back some login password ?

I still got this message :

"Gateway Timeout

The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application."

Allright, i delated my website, even my database. I've create a new database and start a new installation with a new website.. i can't proceed to the installation. I'm going crazy.. i use indexhibit till 7 years, never had any problem (thank you), what's going on right now ?

Well here i'm, and i understand that you can't have answer for each question. But i'll appreciate if somebody could help me. Looking through the forum, it's seems that many people have loggin problem regarding the upgrading stuff, so i can imagine that you have an idea about this question.
I might have done something wrong about the installation of the indexhibit new version. Do you have any tuto about this new installation please ?

connect toi avec le login and password : index1 / exhibit , dépêche toi de changer le login et password.

Bonjour Frami, je te remercie. J'ai téléchargé la nouvelle version d'indexhibit via mon espace sur le site, donc j'imagine que c'est la version 2.1.6, à moins qu'il y ai une subtilité ?

Finally i succed into installing 180litres.fr.. it was a browser problem.. by working with an other computer, the problem is gone..CRAP !
Soon, I will try again to update my heloisebariol.fr, and hope it will work..
Anyway thank you for your advices.
