Dreamhost basic Install issue

I have followed all directions to the best of my ability. Except when I visit "http://www.heyjakesollins.com/ndxz-studio/install.php" I get:

Not Found
The requested URL /ndxz-studio/install.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

My domain/hosting is through Dreamhost. Is anyone familiar with their root folder hierarchy? I assumed that the empty folder titled "heyjakesollins.com" was my root. I didn't see anything resembling the folders described in "installation for dummies". I set the correct folders to "777" I think they might be in the wrong place? I see that other dreamhost users have had issues, so maybe not. Any advice?

I am having a similar problems with Dreamhost with my website www.ariellagreen.com/

except it says

"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

all the pernissions have been set correctly

any ideas?
