another godaddy install issue

imprinta / 2009-06-25 17:21:47

apologies if this issue has already been addressed on the forum but as far as i can tell, it hasnt.

i have verified that my acct. meets indexhibits installation requirements, uploaded the folder contents via cyberduck to my url: imprintaisalice.com

that worked and i changed the permissions on the 3 files to 777.

but when i try to access the install page i get an 'oops! page not found' message.

thanks in advance

disregard that, found it thanks to non-godaddy forum post.

Would you be able to tell me exactly what you did, since I am suffering a similar malady? I have all of the information & have followed all of the instructions to a T, but keep getting that "404 Not Found" page whenever I try to install.

I am also using godaddy.com & cyberduck.

hey, gladly.
i had to phone godaddy and upgrade from the free hosting, which of course doenst allow for web applications. they are helpful on the phone and after that, everything worked perfectly.

best

What is your website britt?

Im with GoDaddy/Cyberduck, having problems with the installation, again getting the same 'Oops, Page Not Found'

I have a deluxe hosting package, so there shouldnt be a problem there. Ive just emailed godaddy to see what they say. Any luck brittkapec?

Sigh...for the millionth time...this is not an Indexhibit issue. If you would look at the file structure in your FTP it's obvious where things are...here...
