Landing Page

However simple, I need to know how to have an image on the landing page. Must one write it in the code before uploading to the host, or is there a way in the indexhibit interface?

Thank you in advance.

"landing" page ?
do you mean a splash page, with just your image ?
or your home, where you arrive normaly, with the menu and all ?

Sorry, I simply mean the homepage. The initial image in the main content area. For instance, the indexhibit homepage where "50 Most Recent Participants" thumbnails appear, with the menu and all.

ok… more clear.

in your menu, do you see the "about" ?
This one is your airbus A380 landing page…

Holy wow, thank you so much. I'm starting to catch on.

lemathieu,

Thank you for your help, but it raised another question I can't figure out.
How do I change the "airbus A380" ? I would like to have an about section other than that of the home page. Also, when my name is searched in google, the title of my page is now "about." It looks less competent, so I'd appreciate advice on having the home and about, or any other page separated.

Thanks!

First of all, don't use slideshow when you just have 1 image.
It's weird, and people will think it miss something…

You can call the page whatever you want, as "Welcome", "Home", "Jake Carlsrud", or even word games like "Hello, my name is" to suit your needs…
Edit this "about" page and click on the about… make your change.
That's all.

Happy to help.
