howdy,

thank you so much for indexhibit! i currently play with it a lot to learn it.

but i'm clueless at this point.
i want to show this nice contact form
i already edited it and created a thank you page. but how can i show the php script in my contact section?

help is really appreciated,

regards

...have you got an address?
an easy way of doing it is through the iframe plugin...

jasmu / 2009-07-22 22:15:33

my site is here: clk

jasmu, yeah iFrame it to your site. iFrame is in the downloads section on here. Instructions there, it's really simple. Plus there's loads of threads in here.

jasmu / 2009-07-23 14:18:59

okay, i did install the plugin. now my site looks garbled.
i still can't show the contact form, because it says "direct access prohibited". the test form however works.

any advice on how to implement it?
the email form from emailform.com worked nicely, but i would rather host the script on my site. this "gbcf" looks quite secure and powerful.

thanks for your help guys.

arsondpi / 2009-07-23 15:15:10

hello... what have you done to your index.php of your theme? did you add code in it?
Cause I get jargon on the very top of the code looking at your html...

jasmu / 2009-07-23 19:41:58

problem solved: i left the zipped plugin in the dir.

jasmu / 2009-07-25 18:42:05

any advice? i think i'm not clever enough yet to do the last step mentioned in the help page
could you guys give me a hint?
or another solution which runs on my webspace?

jasmu / 2009-08-13 14:20:04

can nobody give me a hint, which solution works together with indexhibit?

lemathieu A / 2009-08-13 15:19:15

That's working for me !
I had the thanks page.

jasmu / 2009-08-13 15:35:29

yeah, i know. but the script is not on my server. i would prefer to have it on my own server, for obvious reasons (privacy...)

lemathieu A / 2009-08-13 15:42:13

you linked in your template something that is not on your server?
so download these element(s) and upload them to yours, and change the adresses pointing to these script(s) in the code you copy.

falto / 2009-08-15 06:06:12

Hello, a question:
I am installing for, and I have everything, but I can not move the last step to put these codes somewhere.

Where should I put these scripts or codes?
Do I have to edit the form.php, there is a code of prohibition?

Please jasmu helpme and thanks for the time and good vibes.

jasmu / 2009-08-15 17:48:40

falto: check your mail.

lemathieu: i can't, they don't offer a download (emailmeform.com) and i don't like their form.

there has to be someone who uses a contact form with indexhibit...

jasmu / 2009-08-19 20:05:37

woohooo, i succeeded, finally!
i created a php file, included the code and used the ifram plugin. strange it didn't work earlier.

to fix the horizontal scrollbar i used this tip
it's not valid according to the w3 xhtml validator. can i fix it so it's valid?

Hi all,

First of all, thanks to the developers for indexhibit, I really struggle with web stuff (I'm a designer not a programmer!!!) and so far it's made everything a lot easier.

I managed to get the same form jasmu is using up and running on my site using iframe, but I can't for the life of me work out how to apply the style sheets. Looking at jasmu's site, the style sheets don't seem to be applied here either. It seems the creator of the form is expecting the form will be embedded in a html file, which is not the case here.

The form works flawlessly, but it's ugly as sin...

http://start1g.ovh.net/~paullang/index.php?/contact-form/

any ideas?

PS. Excuse the ugly URL, still don't have the domain set up...

Hi there! before messing things up starting a new thread, i wanted to ask in this old one about adding a ContactForm (\"gbcf-v3\") in an exhibit, using iFrame.
\ni\'ve done almost anything i could, followed the installation instructions and so on. but i got stuck with this message you can see at http://patrona.com.ar/diseno/index.php?/prueba/
\n\"Direct File Access Prohibited\"
\nis this a server issue? or am i doing something wrong?
\nplease, any help will be much appreciated! just looking for the right path to continue working.

\n\n

cheers,
\nk

arsondpi / 2010-11-27 04:20:18

it means that the contact form script is not working for some reason...
