There is a built-in tool for adding pdf's...it's called the Files Manager. It's right there in the system... The little folder icon on top of the text box.

And you can make this page "hidden": like that this page won't appear in the menu and you can give this address directly to your client.

Hello!

Firstly, I'd like to say thank you for creating Indexihibit and for all your hard work!

I have the same question as Jonas though. I would like to upload a zip file onto my server for someone to download. Before i started using Indexhibit, I would just upload the file through my FTP program and send the link to my client. However, after installing Indexhibit, it's not possible to do this (the link will just bring me to my index page).

I understand that there is a file manager that can be used to upload files through Indexihibit, but the file limit is 10mb and does not allow zip files to be uploaded. I need to send a number of images over and because of the number of images I need to send, I don't think my client will have the time to download the images one by one.

Is there any way to upload a zip file (over 10mb) for download while using Indexhibit? Either through my FTP program or through Indexihibit?

Thank you! x

upload it via ftp, put it as a link on a page, right-click on the link…

but you can do as you've always done : create a new folder (like "perso-download") on the root folder, outside of the indexhibit folder.

Strange! It doesn't work when I create a page (either through Indexihit or through uploading a page through FTP) and link it to the file. Even right-click save as doesn't work as the file get corrupted when you try to download it.

But it works if you have a folder (e.g. 'perso-download'), in the root folder, with no index page (so the file directory is listed) and you download the file from there.

Phew! Thank you! :) x
