Sorry for writing again on this argument, but I really don't understand how to avoid the frame structure...can anyone help me with this please? I'm new to indexhibit and can't find a proper explanation for that.
Thanks,
L.

I mean, not the meta refresh solution (nice, but brutal...). What do I need to do to have my index built without frameset and my URL without /indexhibitv070e/index.php?
But Indexhibit is not built with a 'frameset' - it's all done with CSS. It's not anywhere near a frameset.
And what do you mean by "avoid"? A template set?
Maybe build your own index
laura post your website, don't remember anymore that url...
hey, website is http://www.matteothun.com
I do see frames. I'm currently using a redirect here in my MAMP installation and that's fine, but obviously the main page URL is dirty now.
yes, I remember that we have talked about that, you should transfer the whole indexhibit to the main root and erase the index.html file. I did it succesfully at the first attempt following the guidelines found in the forum, using the search form.
As your client is not going to be nice if you mess up things ;-), I'd suggest making a local backup of the whole site as it is now and a backup of the database before doing it.
No frames here. I haven't any idea what's going on there...but Indexhibit has nothing to do with that frame that is holding the entire site.
I don't understand the original question...
@ Vaska - you should look for the previos thread through the search box on top of page ;-)
however, you're right! looks like laura have solved the problem as it was. now she needs to search for clean urls
Well, not sure how I'm supposed to know about that. Could have bumped the previous thread or brought more pertinent info into this thread.
Does she simply want to move the files out of the 'indexhibitv070' folder and then delete the index.html file (which is where the 'frameset' comes from)?
I'm guessing here...time for a smiley face attack as a result of my confusion.
;)
oh yeah!
if she still have problems she'll come back...
;-)
(i've got a remarkable nose...)
Shame on me guys...The previous developer said that the page index.html (the one with frames) was part of indexhibit...Now I see it's not -.-
I've tried to download other themes and saw that there were no frames in the new ones, so couldn't really figure out wtf was going on...I'll destroy that horrible index.html asap.
Thanks for your help and sorry for the waste of time.
Cheers,
L.
