When I go to stats and click on an IP address, it forwards me to DNS Stuff - but tells me I need an account. It has always worked for me before.
Anyone else having this trouble? Solutions?

Whoa...they changed things. Uh-oh...we might have lost our free resource. Unless, you simply used it too much (there are limits to how much you are supposed to use it).
Yep, can't use it anymore. That sucks...I'll see if there is another good resource out there.
I should add...it was a great resource and it was free. I support their decision to switch to a paid setup but for this reason we will need to try to find an alternative.
Dang. Thanks for the quick response Vaska.
Hello,
Just realized that there is a fix to this. If you go to this file:
/ndxz-studio/module/stats/index.php
You can switch out the old DNS Stuff URL with their new format for the free search, which is:
http://private.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=
So the complete line looks like this:
Hope this helps people. It now works for me, and is quite useful.
Masood
Thanks Masood...but I believe people need a pay account for this to work. I'll look into it though. I have to admit...we may need to remove this feature if we can't find a source that will remain open.
It is an amazing resource to say the least...
iptools offer various free lookup services:
this would be the replacement in the above mentioned file:
http://iptools.com/dnstools.php?tool=ipwhois&user_data=$ar[hit_addr]
Thanks, it works.
