Centering an image on a single page

Hi!

Quick question: how can I center an image on a single page? I use the Columner theme and the horizontal exhibition format for all of my inner pages, but I've use the random image script on my homepage. I'd like the image to be centered on the page, but I don't want to mess with the float: left property within the main "content" div and ruin the rest of my pages. So to center JUST the image on the homepage, would I need to define a new class within the content ID? If so, would anyone be willing to show me how that would be done? I've tried a couple different things in Firebug, but nothing seems to pan out...

Here's the link to my site for reference. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm having the same trouble and I'm also using the same theme and plugin. The nearest thing I can find is this thread by moodie (2007-07-16 12:56:45)

I'm getting confused as about what you mean by

been scanning the forum for answers to this for a while and figured it out this morning, so i thought I might post the solution to help others out :-) (I'm a novice, lots of trial and error)

Quite simply the heading styles on columner are at the bottom as H1, H2, H3... I copied a header setting and added it below as H5 and changed the text align from left to center,

then the front page image (added in using a html linked img scr) just apply and that worked!

www.dave-holden.co.uk is it done.
