Fade in Menu

first thanks so much for indexhibit, it's great to have such an open and flexible framework.

I have two questions, maybe someone can help / knows how to do this?

I am trying to get my menu to fade in (possibly with the jQuery .fadein) but when I do it through a .fadein id# for a and wrap the around the menu part of the tndex.php, the menu also fades in every time I click on a menu item.

Is there a way to first fade out the main content area before the new one is loaded/displayed after i clicked on an item in the menu?

Thanks so much!

...but these are jquery events.... Search the jquery api for .hover and for displaying content via ajax...

I don't get why is this related to this forum (and why there's no link as well)...

I got the jQuery part to work, but am not sure how to integrate these two things (only on load menu fade in and main content area fade out) into indexhibit.

Sorry, here is the link:

It's all still a bit messy (page names and folders etc...) but you can hopefully see what I meant with the menu.
