Hello! i've started updating content with new upgrade and not very successful with customizing with new codes - skills limited...

I've lost my homepage and am not able to return to it from the menu.

How to:
create a link to homepage in menu?
have a background image that is full screen so it floats behind the menu?
any coding tips on how to change font size and color?

- not sure what you mean. In another thread I explained what you need to do for a full browser background image. How will a background image be full to the browser and scrollable at the same time?
Try uploading a big background image and disable the full background hack

- Did you try the Indexhbit Style Plugin (Admin->Plugins).
(you'll need to set values for *all* options though...)

But you didn't create a link for the h1 tag like I suggested in the thread above.
